the trilogy
i think it was Shakespeare who said "It takes three legs to make a tripod or to make a table stand,
And it takes three wheels to make a vehicle called a tricycle And every triangle has three corners, Every triangle has three sides, No more, no less, You don't have to guess That it's three Can't you see? It's a magic number "
i can only be quoting this Shakespearean sonnet for one reason. no i haven't bought a tricycle i have just set up my third blog http://fabledidiot.blogspot.com/ is blank at the moment but i plan to have the first post up soonish
untill then Nickabocka glory has just gone up of distopeian scrapbook

tarot:3 The Empress
every one knows it was shakespeare who said "thank god it's friday"but what most people don't know is he said it on a Saturday because arty types without "proper" job are very bad at keeping track of what day it is. this is why this week's tarot card is a day late. sorry!
if you want to support an arty type without "proper" job don't forget you can buy The Empress
on redbubble as prints&cards,t-shirts,hoodies & stickers and on zazzle as skateboards and mugs

God never closes a door without opening a window
I think it was Will Shakespeare who said "Does believing you're the last sane man on the planet make you crazy?"
this building has been here for quite some time now and the shop on the ground floor with a large window on a busy road has never been occupied and i recently came up with a theory as to why it is still empty. here is my theory.
it has not got a door
now i know it sounds crazy but i have walked past it allot and there is no door on this side of the building and the other side of the building is behind gates (to keep us safe from the residents or to keep the residents safe from us).
now i would think that someone would have picked up on this problem in the plan or construction of this building or at least try to fix it in the intervening years

some thing from the weekend 11:run
every friday i'm take some photos and turn one or more in to a t-shirt by monday then upload the photo and a picture of work in progress for you to see
I think it was Shakespeare who said"the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry"
this week my plan went awry. i (a man) was was going to post this photo
(not of a mouse) on friday as a flow up on my gutter garden post but didn't have any thing muck to say say abbot it apart it be another example life setting up home where no one asked it to and on top of that i couldn't think of a Shakespeare misquote to go with it

gutter garden
I think it was Shakespeare who said “were all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars”
It always makes me smile to see life setting up home where no one asked it to.
Heres a of photo exactly what I mean
This gutter garden is growing on some flats opposite the White Water Centre and will soon be removed as the flats are having a bit of a spit and polish to make them look nice for the tourists of 2012
But I have to wonder why they haven't made them look nicer for the residents sooner.

Buy me a pub before it’s too late
I believe Shakespeare once said “ rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated” well it was rumor of a pubs death that triggered this post
My dad told me that the old lady across the road told him that her son told her that the gun and magpie was in the middle of being pulled down. . so I headed off with my camera to get a photo of another pub fading in to history. only to find it standing proud
It is however for sale and i fear that the fate of this pup and many other pubs for sale my come down to who knows who on the planning committee
so if anyone out there wants to save one of these buildings before they get knocked down and turned in to luxury apartments so small you cant get am erection in them without opening a window first. Fill free to buy me the gun and magpie or any pub for that matter
I cant say I’ll be able to run a pub but I could put the original building to good use the bar would make a grate gallery and the cellar a studio and most importantly I’ll have room to build my coffin
