lamppost jewellery

i don't know about where you live but around here the lamppost wear jewellery
string and zip ties are the popular choices but you can see a wide choice of lamppost jewellery

clearly all the string and zip tie were not put there for decoration at some point they held signs and posters which have been left to decay like the one below that tells people "don't litter" put up by a local school more that 6 months ago. i don't think they were thinking this though

case study

Heading out for an early walk i discovered this wheelie suitcase outside my house(the one i am moving out of) . this gave me a dilemma as to whether to take it in or not, because wheelie suitcase fill my head with idea for alternative uses but i know it was dumped for a reason

as you can see i did pick it up and chucked it in my house and went for my walk thinking of things that need wheels and an extendable handle. which as a life long pedestrian is everything.
long story short most of it is in my bin now!
i did save a handle (not the extendable one) and the zip pulls

i think i may be winning the fight with the objects of interest (or junk) in my room but i can't help thinking that a atom bomb may shorten the war by five years and save millions of lives.

i may be missing a nut but I'm cooler than my brother

because i have two guitars i can't play were as my brother only has one guitar he can't play and simple maths will tell you that makes me one guitar cooler than him
the purple guitar was pulled out of a skip some time ago (before it was purple) and was in a bit of a mess so it became art with the use of a tin of paint and some circuit boards
the other  is a new addition which a neighbor was getting rid of and i think this one stand a chance of being made playable once more so i have been on Amazon ordering replacements for the broken strings and the nonexistent nut and the neck could do with some glue to hold it where it's meant to be.
then i need to tune it. now could of ordered a tuner from amazon
but there an free app for that sort of thing

rubbish in the sack

you may have noticed i have no problem picking up rubbish and taking it home to become a peace of art. but this year there has been a lack of things to pick up and use because the council started a purple sack policy (they only pick up non-recyclable rubbish if it in a council-issued sack)
I'm not relay complaining recycling is a good thing i just pointing out that I'm recycling less because of the council making people recycle. so if you know a good fly-tip near Waltham cross let me know so i can go have a good dig around (fly-tipping is wrong but taking them home isn't)
