stops and starts

 so i launched my self in to some then hit a wall, keeping momentum has been hard. i star a job and find myself unable to complete because of lack of space, lack of need materials. or bad weather.this leaves me looking around for something else to get on with.  i am waiting for some new shelves so stuff temporary in the box room can moved back in to my room so i can move my brothers stuff out of the spare room (once his room) into the box room so i can move the spare bed in to the spare room so i can paint my room.

getting stuck in

 now the windows are in i can get stuck in to whipping the house in to shape so now the house is in twice the mess it was before as i move things from place to place to allow me to do jobs i have been waiting to get done including getting the black paint out in the bed room.

windows are in

 all the windows are now in which means i can't look forward to not having strangers in my house tomorrow. i always find it hard to relax around others so a house to my self will be bliss  

feeling a little exposed

 today i got up and took down the curtains so the new window could start going in today, now my bedroom windows are in but the fixings of the curtains were screwed into the old wooden frames so for now i will be sleep with the old curtains held up by shutting them in the new window 

there is a man bending over outside my bed room window.

 this is not someone sexual harassing me he is putting up scaffolding ready for my new window to go in on Monday. they turns up at 8 and got right to work, noisy work with lot of bolts tighten with electric drills and shouting so i may not be my neighbours favourite person right now. but they do seam to be quick so i think it will be over soon.

making room for windows

over the past 3 days i have been moving furniture around to make space for my new windows to be put in next week so much of my stuff in now stacked in the centre of the house. witch may make life a bit interesting for the next week

you can move house from Monday?

it has just been reported on the bbc that from Monday you can leave your home to moving house, fulfilling legal obligations, accessing critical public services and to escape injury, illness or the risk of harm. which fills me with hop that i may be moving sooner than later.
the new window are book to go in to the 20th but i'am not going to hold my breath on that happening.
but if moving house is a  permitted active i would hope that all the stuff that go with moving (like getting phone line setup) will be ruining somewhere near normal ish .

feeling a bit trapped

i can't say i am at my best right now with the lock down getting some more locks put on it living in two places is not going to be simple, i called my brother after boris's broadcast and he going to look in to some of the things that would need to be done for me to finish the move. if it's possible.
and the sell of the house is up in the air too

lock-down??

if you have been following yon will know my living arrangements are a bit odd as i am living between two houses one in Waltham Cross Hertfordshire, this is where i eat and sleep but we are in the process of selling. and one in Enfield north London, the is the house i am going to be moveing into once the sale is complete it is where i moved most of my stuff so the waltham cross house look nice for buyers, it is where i have been trying to spend most my day so getting the house ready to move in. but COVID-19 has happen i don't know if this will stop the house sale. or if the new window will go into my new house as planed, and if is london going into will i be able to walk back and forth every day? who the hell knows? 

terminology door

this is to go over the door in my living room but i am at a bit of a loss for terminology, i want to call it a capital but then i think that may just be the ornamental top of a column.

black

it was always going to happen i have got black paint on the wall and it looks fantastic. only just getting started on what will be a constantly evolving interior 

full circle

i have now sanded the skirting boards all the way round my living room, i still need to do more to them but i think i want to get some paint on some of the the walls starting with the chimney breast.

i have made a start working on the living room door spending a bit of time each day sanding it down 

and in my sketchbook i have been playing around with some ideas for artwork to go on the door with Gothic arches on each of the six panel 

bedroom chronicles white out

the white paint has started going up on the walls of my bedroom and i hate it.but it not for me i have a whole new house i will be decorating for myself sooner or later

the house i'm living in is going on the market some time in the near future so the black walls need to go, so today i have been emptying  my bedroom to paint it. including unmaking my desk

this is the back room in my late father's house, this is my little piece of order in my currently disorganised home, as i try and work out what need to go what needs to be kept and where the hell i'm going to keep the stuff that needs to be kept

keep the home fires burning

 if your keeping up with my blog you will know i am trying to get two houses in order. both houses had a silly amount of wood laying around most of it not good for much so i have been dedicated some time to burning the surplus. round my late mothers house the wood has gone into a garden incinerator and i am typing this in fount of an open fire and the Eurovision song contest and my late dads house
