bob the bedside beast

this bedside cabinet is now started it's transformation with a Milliput and a paint job into becoming bob the bedside beast. it still needs some work to get his skin looking right but it's a good start

three two-tone tables.

 tow day i finished off three two-tone nesting tables which i have been working on for far too long.
i then started work on a bedside table. before i took off the nob to sand the draw this bedside table looked like it had a nose and a mouth so i may give it some eyes to turn it in to a bedside beastie

heading for a new normal

i know i have not been blogging much and i have not post a new video but i thing are heading in the right direction. so what i think i am going to do is set myself a chinese new year's resolutions to blog at least 3 times a week and post a weekly video.

by the time chinese new year we will have had my mum's funeral and hopefully life will settling down to it's new normal.

but just because i haven't been blogging doesn't mean i have been sat on my ass.

before christmas i started doing some volunteering  upcycling furniture

here is a coffee table i did before christmas

bedroom chronicles:defecting to the other side

if you have read my previous posts you may know my room used to look like this

it now looks like this

 i have moved my bed to the the other side  of the room. oh and that is Head wearing a hat with a head on it i will get to that in a later post

this creates a good amount of floor space for upcycling coffee tables, learning to play guitar or doing some interpretive dance. I WILL DO ONE OF THOSE THINGS ONE DAY. ....... maybe

found table

 i found this coffee table dumped in the street and had to take it home. it has a burn mark in the middle (from a candle i think) and  some paint on it but is in otherwise good condition.

i'am not 100% certain what i am going to do with it but than candle burn mark makes me think this my make a good ojai board
