waltham cross comic book shop: nerdvana
inspired by a leaflet called Broxbourne borough council waltham cross renaissance project in which the council gave a verge out line of how they are going to try to improve the appearance of waltham cross. well forget widening pavements and planting trees here is how i wood improve my town
with a big kryptonite green nerdy shop stuff full of nerdy stuff. ok i have had to evict fishpools the south east's largest quality furniture store which has been in the town since 1899 but i believe it was shakespeare who said "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one" and we all need to geek out from time to time. and it's not like my shop won't stock furniture I'm shore a replica of James Tiberius kirk's captain's chair wood look fantastic in your living room. or maybe a full size tardis (out side dimensions) to keep your comic book collection in (don't forget to check out the back issue department)
this shop has everything any geek, nerd or otaku could ever need or want
it will be A to Lord Zedd of all things geek. comic, action figures, war games you name it this shop stocks it. even that really obscure film you saw on late night tv and can't remember the name of they have it on dvd and blue ray and have the even more obscure graphic novel it was based on.
unfortunately it doesn't exist so you have to settle for a print of nerdvana

continuityman
redbubble is having a new york comic con design challenge to create your very own, original, comic book character. and continuityman is my attempt this was my brother's suggestion and if you read his blog you probably know why. Continuityman is a reference to the ever changing history in comic books
on this tee my brother also play the role of Continuityman who has just finished read a comic entitled Continuityman reborn implying his own history has been rewritten
and in the description for the shirt i includes the tag line
"trying to avenge your parents death is not easy when your backstory keeps on changing"
and specified his superpower include constant headaches and a cognitive disequilibrium.

attack in the amazon
i have planned for some time to self-publish a book to get my name turning up on amazon and other sites but being dyslexic fighting with words has never been my strong point and my distopeian scrapbook is not taking shape as quickly as i would like, so to get a foot on the self-publish ladder i have started working on a silent comic mini series. the plan is 4 comic making up 1 book with no words. the 4 comics will be sold separately and as a single volume.
and stage one of this plan is to tell you so I'm less likely to give up.
oh by the way i have add a number of t-shirts to my redbubble so why not head over there and check them out

Tarot:1 The Magician
here is card 1 of my tarot deck the fool being card 0. as you can see comparing this to last weeks fool I'm going to use the same style and technique throughout the tarot project. each figure will be standing or siting in a set made of box shapes using a comic book framework with the card name and number in the corner of one of two of the comic cells, as well as comic cell structures i am going to use tea stain on the the cards to add texture to some of the coloured spaces.
and here is were you can buy it
