what i didn't get for Christmas

as you probably know buy now i like picking up stuff i find in the street. so when i saw this shoe on my way home on boxing day i just had to pick it up and squeezes it in to the bag of watchables, consumables and projectiles i had been given for christmas family

 

and some of you my know i have been experiment with paper mache

so i decided to make a paper mache copy

whitemare?

being unemployed i am in the lucky position of not having to go outside if the weather gets bad but i got sick of hiding form what the newspapers have been calling a whitemare and headed outside in to the post-apocalyptic chaos of the devastating nuclear winter with my camera to take some photos of the carnage and destruction

other people however have been over reacting i was in bed hiding under a duvet (because baby in not to warm inside)and listing to radio 4 as people compared  heathrow airport to war zones and refugee camps.
but all these comments  come from brits hows holiday flight had been canceled and have decided to stay at the airport to try to get on a flight and moan  about not having enough emergency blankets for there family. in my opinion they should give the emergency blankets to someone whiting to get a flight home and piss off back home and have a snowball fight

reading habits

for someone who is diylexic (how the hell am i meant to be able to spell that) i have a lot of book and my choice of book can be a bit random i have been working my way though Thomas Harris's Hannibal lector book and as i near the end of Hannibal Rising i have just pick up the complete lewis carroll with the original illustrations. i was a little disappointed to find that i had been misinformed about who had done the illustrations for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and through the looking glass having been tolled by an art tutor it was Mervyn Peake who in-fact illustrated later editions

once again my computer is staining in the way of my plans. today i was going to add to my distopeian mapbook but computer said no! and reminded me that i don't get to choose when to upload.

Anagrams

i think shakespeare once said "i've got my mind on my money and my money on my mind"

as you know I'm dividing my blog in to three my Distopeian scrapbook is up and running and so I'm now thinking about the third of my blogs currently this lives as my if i had page which changes every month and has no archive.

the idea of the if i had page was a away to share affiliated links to make some money without writing revues which is hard to do if you not got money to spend on stuff to revue. so i told you what I'd spend money on if i had any. but i think as a on going blog this may get tedious.

so  for thenew blog i going come up with an amusing reason to share affiliated links for each post. one idea in my head at the moment is albums that should be turned in to rock-operas.
but what should i call my new blog?
i tried coming up with a snappy title but have not got very far i even tried using an anagram generator but the best i got was "Fabled idiot In Affray" an anagram of ian byford affiliated

im not a big fan of charity covers where a celebrity or worse group of celebrities get together and murder  a song for charity. but i'm putting my reservations to one side and coming out in support of once such charity track without hearing it. door 6 : phone trouble

last year it was my shoes giving me a hard time this year my phone is being the difficult one. not letting me top up and telling me it's not an o2 number which it definitely is. but the sim is old having lived through 3 phones and i think it may of been over a year since it was top up although the credit has only just run-out. so i fished out the sim card which came with the phone to find it needed to be activated by December so I have to get a new one sent to me just as the post office hits critical-mass. but hay it did prompt me to make some phone based art

Wednesday my brother asked me if i had thought about having more than one blog.

and the answer, yes i had but i didn't think having a separate blog would be beneficial.

but this was not what he was suggesting he was suggesting have separate t-shirts blogs for my "if i had" page and my distopeian scrapbook  

so i have been thinking it over and it don't sound like a bad idea.

i can have them linked to this page in the side bar or and the top of the page jast like i have links to them now. but more sites may get more people coming from searches and the ad (which i get payed for if you click on) will be targeted better and the affiliate links (which i get payed for if you buy something) on the if i had page will stay up longer   

(i don't get paid for donations from this months if i had page)

so i am asking you if you think i should divide or not???

door 2:thinking on my feet

This blogmass i have to admit has not been planned out like last year so who knows where this crazy road we walk may take us. well probably past a lot of random art work like this for a start

it the firsts of the month which means a new if i had page is up and it december which means it is blogmass  an annual celebration identical to Christmas in every way apart from spelling and pronunciation 

this month i am getting all charitable with my fictional money inspired by the story of £113m Euromillions wins, which most new coverage pointed out would earn £8,500 a day in interest i have decided to do a if i and 12 day of blogmass.
